Ryota Murata and Gennady Golovkin completed their public workouts on Wednesday in Saitama, Japan. Both fighters, who will fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) super championship belt and the IBF middleweight title, will face each other this Saturday.
Murata, WBA champion, made some moves and made statements to the media with only a couple of days left before a big fight against an idol of the sport in his own house.
Golovkin showed his characteristic friendliness and posed for the cameras while he did some work with his trainer.
This Thursday they will meet face to face at a press conference and tomorrow the official weigh-in will take place, the last step before Saturday’s showdown.
