Hassan N’Dam, N’Jikam (36-2, 21KO’s) and Ryota Murata (12-1, 9KO’s) both made weight in Tokyo, Japan. WBA champion N’Dam weighed in at 158.25 lbs and challenger Murata weighed in at 160 lbs.
The fight will take place at Kokugikan Hall in Tokyo, Japan, and is to be aired live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. It is a rematch of their first fight which took place earlier this May in Tokyo as well.
N’Dam has always shown a very good fighting heart and is not the most difficult man to put down on the canvas but he is extremely difficult to keep there, as no one has been able to do yet in his 38 professional fights.
The Gold Medalist Murata has said that this rematch will be very different because he has gained a mental edge in knowing that he can hurt Murata and also, much more importantly, that he knows he belongs in the ring at the world class level.
