Deon Nicholson and Efetobor Apochi will fight in a World Boxing Association (WBA) cruiserweight title eliminator this Saturday. The Shrine Exposition Center, in Los Angeles, will be the venue where the two undefeated fighters will be facing each other.
American Nicholson is the WBA fifth-ranked boxer and is 30 years old. The fighter will be going to a major test after demolishing several opponents and will be making his first fight since last December.
On the other side, there is Nigeria’s Apochi, a 33-year-old who is also undefeated in his professional career. The African comes from knocking out Joe Jones in November and knows the importance of this fight against the American.
TGB Promotions is organizing the event and will feature several high-level fights. Nicholson has a record of 14 wins, no losses, and 13 KOs, while Apochi has won 10 fights, all of them by KO.
