“I am confident in my work and what I have” said 122-lbs interim champion of the World Boxing Association, Colombian Oscar Escandon, in days prior to his title defense this Saturday, April 18, in California, against the Mexican Moisés “Chuky” Flores
The Colombian will make the first defense of the belt he conquered on December 11, 2014 by split decision to Tyson Cave.
“I know everything is going to be fine and the title will stay in Colombia,” Escandon (24-1, 16 KO) told the media in his country, he also said he does not think in the knock out because that comes unintentionally.
Flores (22-0, 16 KO) thinks otherwise, he assured he will seek the KO, taking advantage of Escandon “he takes many punches. The belts will move to Mexico”.
