An unforgettable night for Argentine boxing, at the mythical Luna Park stadium. The local, Pablo “Pacman” Corzo, was consecrated as the new Fedelatin super middleweight champion of the World Boxing Association after defeating Roger “Dinamita” Guerrero in the third round by forfeit.
The fight was a messy one from the middle of the first round. Although Guerrero was able to hit good combinations, in the middle of a clinch he decided to bite his opponent’s arm in the second round. Then followed other misdemeanors carried out by the Ecuadorian to whom finally, his corner, threw in the towel.
Pablo Corzo, former member of the Argentinean National Team, completed his 10th fight, 9 before the limit. The Fedelatin WBA belt is the first that Corzo conquered and shows a halo of good promise.
