Vic Pasillas and Raeese Aleem will enter the ring at the Mohegan Sun Casino, in Uncasville, Connecticut, to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Interim Super Bantamweight Title this Saturday night.
It will be a duel of undefeated American fighters who have earned the right to fight for the belt thanks to their records and the opponents they have defeated to date. Pasillas, who is 28 years old, arrives to the fight with a winning streak of six KOs and has not had any fights ended by decision since 2015.
The power of the Los Angeles native may be his best weapon in this fight, along with being a southpaw, which makes him an uncomfortable and difficult opponent to beat.
For his part, Aleem has just defeated Marcus Bates by TKO in a title eliminator bout on August 1 at the same stage in Uncasville. At 30 years old, he will have his first title shot and has also knocked out six opponents in a row between 2018 and today.
Both boxers will have various promotional activities during the week, including the weigh-in ceremony on Friday, in which they must weigh no more than 122 pounds to be able to fight for the belt.
Pasillas has 16 victories, 9 of them by KO, while Aleem has 17 wins and 11 KOs.
