Panamanian, Guillermo Pérez Pineda will referee the Super Lightweight interim title fight to be held on Saturday May 10 in La Guaira, Venezuela, between Johan Pérez and Fernando Monte de Oca.
Pérez is the-140-lbs Interim champion after defeating Paul Spadafora on November 30, 2013.
This will be the first title defense of the Venezuelan who first won it in December 2011 from Fernando Castañeda, and then lost it seven months later to Pablo César Cano, making this his only setback in his 18 victories.
Dominican Monte de Oca’s record is 15-2, 12 KO´s and has won his last three fight by TKO.
The judges of the fight will be Peruvian Danilo Dongo, Panamanian David Singh and Puerto Rican Roberto Ramirez. Alberto Sarmiento will supervise the actions.
