In advance of tomorrow’s championship doubleheader at Manchester Arena in Manchester, Lancashire, United Kingdom, undefeated WBA World super bantamweight champ Scott Quigg (30-0-2, 22 KOs) and his opponent, Kiko Martinez (32-5, 24 KOs), ranked #11 by the WBA, both made weight this afternoon at the Cathedral Gardens in Manchester.
The champion took to the scales and came in at 121.8 pounds. The challenger weighed in at 121.5 pounds.
It will be Quigg’s fifth defense of his WBA title.
In the co-main event, WBA World lightweight champion Darleys Perez (32-1, 20 KOs) tipped the scales at 134.5 pounds while his challenger, Anthony Crolla (29-4-2, 11 KOs), ranked #11 by the WBA, weighed in at 134.3 pounds.
