Albert Ramirez will fight Facundo Nicolas Galovar in the light heavyweight on Friday, March 11, at the Casino Buenos Aires, in the Argentine capital.
The Venezuelan prospect returns to the ring shortly after knocking out Mexican Juan Carlos Raygoza last February in Tijuana.
Ramirez is a 29-year-old southpaw fighter of considerable power and technique been making his way up to 175 pounds. His amateur boxing career has included several world, Pan American and World Series of Boxing competitions.
His opponent will be Galovar, 28, who is going through a good moment and has won three consecutive fights. The 28-year-old from Yerba Buena, Tucumán, will try to take advantage of the fact that he is at home to surprise the visitor.
Ramirez has 11 fights in his career, all won by knockout. Galovar, on the other hand, has 13 wins, 6 losses, 2 draws and 8 knockouts.
