The Directory Member of the World Boxing Association, and Nicaraguan Boxing leader, Renzo Bagnariol was honored with the Alexis Arguello Sports Award on the fifth death anniversary of the world champion on Tuesday in Nicaragua.

The family of the World Boxing Association congratulates Bagnariol, who has always carried out his duties and has been a great fighter for the Nicaraguan boxing development.

The event took place in the Salon Miguel Larreynaga in the Managua Mayor Headquarters, where the Mayor Daysi Torres and Deputy Mayor Enrique Armas, made delivery of the awards to all the honoree.

Together with the family of the late Alexis Arguello, members of the Nicaraguan Boxing world like Roman “chocolatito” González, Rosendo Álvarez and José “Quiebra Jícara” Alfaro, Carlos “Chocorroncito” Buitrago, Félix and the twin brothers René Alvarado and Alcides Martínez also attended the event.

Congratulations Renzo, for this well-deserved recognition to his tireless work.
