Renzo Bagnariol, Member of the World Boxing Association and a fighter of the development of the sport of boxing was honored in Nicaragua, during the ceremony of awards to the best in 2014.

The event is organized each year by the Nicaraguan sports reporters Association (ACDN) chaired by Mosié Avalos.

Bagnariol was the center of attraction in an event that took place on Saturday in Managua and had the Latin American boxing legend, Roberto “Manos de Piedra” Durán, as the special guest.

Miguel Prado, Ratings Committee Chairman and Director of the WBA, was honored for his support to Nicaraguan Sport, also, Nicaraguan Gustavo Jarquín, member of the International oficial of the WBA.

The award as the Boxer of the Year was given to Roman “Chocolatito” González, former king of the WBA, now WBC champion.
