Daniel Roman and T.J. Donehy will be in the ring this Friday in a unification fight that will have the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Bantamweight Championship in play, which is currently held by Roman. The fight will take place at the Forum, in Inglewood, California and will have a couple of world titles at stake.

Roman, a 28-year-old American, will comply with the fourth defense of his crown. The “Baby Faced Assassin”, as he is nicknamed the champion, won his crown in September of 2017 by defeating the Japanese native Shun Kubo. Since then he has defended consecutively against Ryo Matsumoto, Moises Flores, and Gavin Mcdonnell. The native of California has a run of 18 wins as his last loss was in 2013.

For his part, the Welsh national born in Ireland, T. J. Donehy, is undefeated in his career. At 32 years old, he will take a much more complicated challenge compared to any of the ones he has taken in the past, but he plans to keeping an immaculate record this Friday night.

Both fighters will comply with the pre-fight activities during the course of the week. Roman has won 26 fights, while he has lost 2 with one tie, meanwhile 10 of his wins have come via knockout. Donehy has not lost any bouts in 21 appearances and has dispatched 15 opponents via knockout.
