Mukhammad Shekhov and Magomed Kurbanov completed the final step before their fight this Friday in Moscow, Russia. They will enter the ring at the USC Soviet Wings to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) International Super Bantamweight Championship and the two of them were under the 122-pound limit.
Both Shekhov and Kurbanov hit the scales at 121.9 pounds and are now ready to fight for the black and gold regional belt in a great duel of undefeated fighters.
Shekhov is a Uzbek native but has Russian nationality and resides in that country. In the case of Kurbanov, he is Russian by birth and has not lost any professional fights either since 2017.
Shekhov is undefeated in 7 fights, 3 of them won by KO, while Kubanov has 6 wins with 3 KOs.
