WBA super-flyweight champ in recess, Japan’s Tomonobu Shmizu (19-3-1, 9 KOs) passed the weigh-in, tipping the beam at the class limit of 115 pound, while WBA regular champ Tepparith Kokietgym (19-2, 12 KOs), from Thailand, scaled in at 114.75 pounds at the weigh-in ceremony on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan. They will square off in a unification title bout.

 

 

 

Kameda - Manakane - WBAAlso, WBA bantam ruler Koki Kameda (26-1, 17 KOs), Japan, weighed in at the 118-pound class limit to 116.25 for #11 Nouldie Manakane (24-10-1, 15 KOs) from Indonesia. The WBA twinbill will take place in Yokohama tomorrow (Wednesday).
