The Opening Ceremony of the World Boxing Association (WBA) Convention will officially rise the event’s curtain on Monday, October 30 in Medellin, and Antonio Cervantes, the great Kid Pambelé, will be honored that night.
The opening dinner is a space to welcome personalities and all people involved in the Convention. On Monday night, a moving homage will be paid to the greatest Colombian boxer and also a Latin America and world legend.
The WBA wants to leave a mark in Colombia and thank their leaders for everything they have done for boxing. In addition, during the ceremony, ideas will be shared to improve the sport, and for better benefits.
