Yordenis Ugas and Errol Spence Jr. held their public workouts on Wednesday in the week leading up to their welterweight unification bout this Saturday at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Both the World Boxing Association (WBA) super champion, Cuban Ugas, and the WBC and IBF champion, American Spence, participated in sessions with their workout teams and talked a little about the bout that awaits them.
The Antillean performed several stretches and shadowed during his intervention. Ugas also talked about the fight and said he hopes to be able to take advantage of his reach and height to beat Spence, an opponent with similar physical characteristics.
For his part, the American said he feels good both physically and mentally while he talked about his diet and how well he has been doing in his process to make weight for the fight.
On Thursday, both fighters will hold their last press conference before the fight and on Friday they will step on the scales for the official weigh-in.
