Briton Tony Bellew and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk had no problem with the scale on Friday when they came in under the 200 pounds required for their bout for the World Boxing Association Super Championship of the world on Saturday at the Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom.
Challenger Bellew was the first to climb on the scale, stopping the needle at 199.4 pounds in his return to the cruiserweight division. Usyk followed suite and came in at198.5 pounds, thus leaving everything finished except for the fight for the fight itself.
The winner of this promising battle will be proclaimed as undisputed cruiserweight champion and is in the front line to ascend to the highest and most respected heavyweight category where Anthony “AJ” Joshua, current Super Heavyweight Champion of the WBA, reigns.
