Chris Colbert and Jezreel Corrales will clash in The Liacouras Center, in Philadelphia fighting for the WBA interim Junior Lightweight next Saturday night. The American will have to show what he is made of against an experienced former World Champion from Panamá Jezreel Corrales for the vacant title.

The bout will be the co-main event for the WBA Junior Middleweight Super Champion Julian Williams making his first defense against the Dominican Jeison Rosario.

Colbert is only 23 years, with a classy boxing style, holds a perfect record. His first world shot came early in his career, and his mission is to face this big challenge.

His opponent, the Centro American Corrales, who is a former Super World champion and wants to come back to the top of boxing. The San Miguelito native isn´t living his best streak, but at 28 years of age is still a complicated challenger, who is willing to put up a good performance in American soil.

Both fighters are already in Philadelphia, and this week they will attend all of the activities prior the face of. Colbert’s record is 13 wins, no losses and 5 knockouts, and Corrales has 23 wins, 3 losses and 9 knockouts.
