The 37th edition of the World Boxing Association (WBA) KO Drugs Festival had its last press conference on Wednesday in Panama City. With a great atmosphere, the fighters who will take part of Friday and Saturday’s events, talked to the press, posed for the cameras and told how they feel when there is little time left for the action. 

Jezreel Corrales, Anselmo Moreno, Yésica Bopp, among others, were present at the event that will return to Panama after two years, one of its main venues. 

There will be boxers from Panama, Colombia, Nicaragua, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, among other countries, an evidence of the spirit of the festival, which has always been to give opportunity to young people in the Latin American region and allow them to use this festivals for their growth. 

The women’s event will take place on Friday at the Majestic Casino, where Bopp will defend her world championship against the Mexican Jessica Nery, and in which there will be great women’s fights.

On Saturday, the action will be at the Roberto Duran Arena with Panamanian Anselmo Moreno fighting Mexican Gustavo Piña for the Fedelatin featherweight belt and also highlights the lightweight eliminator bout between Jezreel Corrales and Miguel Madueño.

The atmosphere in Panama this week has been filled with boxing and the fans are looking forward to the KO Drugs festival, which promises to be an event of great action and excitement.
