The proposal to create a regional authority body to supervise boxing in the Oceania region, to provide boxing greater opportunity for regions to grow in their areas and the World Boxing Association.
The proposal was made by Francisco Martinez and Derek Milham, who spoke of the many boxers and activity within the continent.
In the next few days there will be the review of the different legal systems, to finalize the foundation of the regional body.
The organization will have Gilberto Mendoza as Honorary President and Martinez as the WBA Oceania president, Milham as secretary, Cyril Cairns vice president, and, Ferlin Marsh, and Daron Locantro will be responsible for the legal area.
