The President of the World Boxing Association, Gilberto Mendoza and its vicepresident, Gilberto Jesús Mendoza will attend the world boxing Summit taking place this week in Playa del Carmen, México.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, with the participation of some members of the World Boxing Council, chaired by Mauricio Sulaimán, the International Boxing Federation, under the command of Daryl Peoples, in addition to the WBA. It is their second meeting this year.
During this second meeting the three major organizations plan to review of their rules and will look for alternatives to provide greater security to the boxers, as well as improvements to the sport.
