The World Boxing Association is sanctioning seven more title fights during this month of September.
It recently sanctioned the super flyweight interim title fight between Denkaosan Kaovichit y Nobuo Nashiro.
The first two will be in Osaka on Wednesday September 11 when Kazuto Ioka, 108 lbs champion makes and optional defend of his belt against Kwanthai Sithmorseng. The referee of will be the Finish Erkki Meronen and the judges in charge of the score cards are the Panamanian Ignacio Robles , the Venezuelan Reina Urbaez and the Dutch Lahcen Oumghar.
In the same program the 105 champion, the Japanese Ryo Miyazaki will fight the interim champion Jesus Silvestre in a mandatory fight. The referee will be Lahcen Oumghar, and the judges Robles, Urbaez y Meronen.
Alan Kim will supervise both fights.
Then, on September 14 at the MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada there will be two WBA title fights at the stake, one of them, and the main card of the night will be between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in the super welterweight division.
Nevada State Athletic Commission selected the following officials Dave Moretti, CJ Ross, Craig Metcalf and Kenny Bayless as referee. WBA Vice president Gilberto Jesús Mendoza will supervise the actions.
Same night, 140 lbs. Super Champion Danny García will fight Lucas Mathysse. Nevada State Athletic Commission selected the following officials: Robert Hoyle, Glenn Trowbridge, Jurgen Lagos. The third man on the ring will be Tony Weeks.
WBA Ratings Committee Chairman, Miguel Prado, will supervise the actions.
On September 28, 2013, in Manchester, Scott Quigg and Yoandris Salinas will be the stars of the mandatory super bantamweight title fight. Same day, but in Lima, Peru, WBA interim champion Alberto “Chiquito” Rossel will fight Jose Zuniga.
The night will be completed in Mendoza, Argentina when Juan Carlos Reveco faces Ricardo Nuñez for an optional flyweight title defense.
