Tre’Sean Wiggins and Cody Wilson will clash for the vacant North American Boxing Association ( WBA NABA) welterweight championship this Saturday at the Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio.
Wiggins and Wilson will be on the Don King Productions event, featuring several WBA NABA titles and, of course, the heavyweight world title between Trevor Bryan and Jonathan Guidry.
It will be an interesting 147-pound clash, with the 27-year-old Wilson getting his first shot at a regional title. He has just scored a two-round knockout during June 2021 and feels ready to take on this challenge.
Wiggins does have title experience at this level, having fought Alberto Palmetta for the WBA-International belt in August 2020 and previously fought Mykquan Williams for another regional belt in 2018.
Wiggins has a record of 12 wins, 5 losses, 3 draws and 6 knockouts. Wilson, meanwhile, has 10 wins, 3 losses and 7 knockouts.
