Undefeated boxer Atchayira Wirojanasunobol will step into the ring to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Asia Welterweight title this Saturday against fellow Thai Krai Setthaphon in Bangkok.
The weigh-in ceremony took place this Friday and both contenders were within the 140-pound limit. Now, they only have to step into the ring to fight for the regional crown of the pioneer organization this Saturday.
Wirojanasubonol, a 31 year old fighter, has a perfect record. A native of Burinam, he has experience in regional fights and wants to take advantage of this opportunity to win the belt.
He comes from an inactivity of almost two years due to a legal problem from which he was acquitted and is ready to return to do what he loves and continue to climb in the boxing world.
Wirojanasunobol has won all 12 of his professional bouts, 5 of them on the fast track, while the veteran Setthaphon has a record of 29 wins, 6 losses and 19 KOs.
