The British Khalid Yafai and the Japanese Suguru Muranaka complied on Tuesday with their public training prior to their World Boxing Association Super Flyweight title next Saturday in England.
The fans at site enjoyed the fighter’s training, jumping jacks, shadows, mitt hitting, as part of their fight promotion, since their formal training ended, and they are facing their weigh-in on Friday when they must stop the scale at 115 lbs.
This will be Yafai’s first defense of the super flyweight belt he won on December 1, when the unanimously defeated Panamanian Luis “El Nica” Concepcion. On his behalf, Muranaka was Japan’s 112 lbs 2013 – 2014 and in 2015 he moved up to 115 lbs and this will be his first title shot.
