The fireworks that will kick off the centennial convention of the World Boxing Association are approaching. Day two, December 11, will feature a new edition of the historic KO Drugs event, which will be held for the first time in the United States soil.
The scenario will be the Caribe Royale Orlando and will be sponsored by Boxlab Promotions as host in Florida. There will be an explosive card with high impact fights such as Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez.
Among the fights to be contested will be the only female super featherweight category: the Greek boxer, Kalliopi “Pink Tyson” Kourouni will fight 10 rounds against the experienced Colombian Calista Silgado.
The 31-year-old Greek boxer, who carries the powerful nickname of “Pink Tyson”, intends to win one more belt that will propel her to enter the major leagues of the stars of the moment.
She will arrive for this challenge with a total of 12 victories, 2 of them by fast track and 3 defeats.
For her part, Calista Silgado aka “Cali”, has had tough performances against renowned opponents such as champion Hyun mi Choi, Mikaela Mayer, Amanda Serrano, among many others. Now 34 years old, she has regained her winning ways last October when she defeated Daila Vasquez by knockout. She has completed so far a total of 21 fights won with 16 knockouts and 16 setbacks.
This will be an attractive Centennial Convention KO A LAS DROGAS bout that will also have a WBA Continental super featherweight title on the line.
