Anabel Ortiz and Seniesa Estrada came face to face in the last press conference before their fight this Saturday for the World Boxing Association (WBA) minimum title, which will take place in Texas at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Ortiz and Estrada is expeted look to be a great fight between two top-level fighters who are both eager to be at the top of the 105-pound class. In addition, they both wish women’s boxing to continue to grow and take more space on the big card.
“I feel happy because I have been working hard. It’s a dream to fight in the United States and for them to know more about Mexican boxing,” said “Avispa” Ortiz.
Ortiz said to be read to defend her title once more.: “The fans are going to enjoy a great fight. I am preparing myself as a challenger to win. I’m coming to defend and take what is mine, which is a victory.
Estrada talked about the effort of the boxers as well as the fruits they have harvested: “I always dreamed of being here, we have been thruugh so much. It wasn’t easy to get to where we are. As Anabel said, it’s going to be a great fight. She comes with experience, but I’ve been fighting since I was 8 years old and I have more than 100 amateur fights and now it’s my time”.
On Friday both will step on the scales to make the 105-pound marked and on Saturday they will be ready for the big fight. Ortiz has a record of 31 wins, 3 losses and 4 knockouts. “Super Bad” has 19 wins, no setbacks and 8 knockouts.
